chunkypeanutbutter Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 (edited) Posted this before, but it got broken in a few places, and I wasn't overly happy with how it turned out. So, naturally, I re-rusted it, this time with powders and some dirt-colored paint. New things added: just rear window mesh... ...lettering... ...and "teeth" in the grille opening. For the lettering and the white parts of the teeth, I used a white paint pen from Walmart. Painter's Choice, I think; the one with the fine point. Questions, comments, whatever you like. I do know the wheels are four-bolt, before you point it out... Eventually, this will be the "parts runner" or "scrap hog" in a junkyard diorama. I've already made a Ford Shoebox for said diorama. DumpyDan Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Yard Truck, nicely done, that rusted out rear wheel well is good looking
Tom Geiger Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 I do know the wheels are four-bolt, before you point it out.. Where did you find those? I need a set like that for a '66 Mustang six cylinder replica from my past!
chunkypeanutbutter Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 Where did you find those? I need a set like that for a '66 Mustang six cylinder replica from my past! They were from the Tamiya Lotus Super Seven. I clamped them into a power drill and lathed the ribs off them to fit into these tires.
MGL Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I love these oddball builds, very creative and well executed.
