KJ790 Posted July 3, 2015 Author Posted July 3, 2015 Great build so far, What did you use to make the side of the trailer? Thanks! For the sides I used Evergreen styrene sheet with grooves in it. I then glued styrene rod into each groove to create the ribs. It was a bit tedious, but it worked out alright in the end.
kilrathy10 Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 That is awesome....Coming along very nicely.....I can't wait to get to one of these.....Definitely on the list.....Your build really inspires me....Beautiful....
ewaskew Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Looks real good man. What did you use for tarp material? How about some photo's of the Bottom/Hopper's? God Bless
KJ790 Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 Thanks guys! I got a lot more done tonight. For the tarp, I used a heavy duty paper towel that I painted red. I'm pretty happy with how it came out.
thejunkman Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I will have to make one of these to go behind my "on the farm" replica T600 I am gong to build. Our trailer is an older model. I just recently helped replace the tarp/cover on the real thing.
Kostas Parchas Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Nice one, you did it very well and its realy nice hooked on that awesome Peterbilt. I might try one day to build one of these trailers too.Kostas.
