Jonj238 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) Since my Peterbilt 377 project is winding down, I have started working on my next project a Ford AreoMax I picked up off Evilbay. I am going with the paint scheme on the box, blue, silver and charcoal on the lower. Once again sorry for the poor pictures, its raining outside again. And This is the color blue I chose. Petetrucker07 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Nice start. Looks like your doing what I do, get almost finished with 1, then start on another. Paint looks pretty good inside. I'm sure it's gonna sparkle in the sun.
gatorincebu Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) Jon, You are off to a great start.Do you know what colors you are going to paint it yet? Gee maybe I should read things more carefully??? duh!!!! Be Well Gator Edited June 25, 2015 by gatorincebu
Jonj238 Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Heres an update. All parts are clear coated and I have begun work on the interior. Next update, I should be able to show the reason for the long stretch. Note. The pictures make the truck look like it is the "orange peel" king, but it's not. I don't know why the pictures look that way, It is actually a pretty smooth paint job.
guitarsam326 Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Man this thing brings back memories! I got the kit when i was about 7 or 8, and i got evryrhing done up to the sleeper.... Needless to say, its fate was a couple m80's, makes me sick now!
gatorincebu Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Hmmm, the paint looks good! Don't complain about the rain too much. It is better than the drought we have been having over here! It has just started raining a bit everyday here. I for one am glad to see it. Remember everything needs to be balanced. Rain/ sunshine !!!! :-) Be Well Gator
Jonj238 Posted June 25, 2015 Author Posted June 25, 2015 Does anyone have a left headlight bucket for this kit? I seem to have lost mine. I have the right side.
Truck parts Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Great looking build, great paint job,and I will be following this build as you go on.
Jonj238 Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 Here's my latest update. It's been a big project so far. I'm about ready to wrap up the cab, and I have a real nice start on the bed.
