Hi all,

My vendor is telling me that they have no idea if and when they can get the HRM Weber kit.

Would any one by chance know either;

1) How I can query HRM for an ETA on said kit?

2) Who would happen to have em on hand now?

Perhaps as an alternaive, get the Webers from Norm@Replicas&Miniatures? He seems pretty accessable actually, really nice man as we spoke last week.

HUH? A Weber kit? Is this a resin kit of a carb for a engine? What scale? If this is a kit of a carb that is a great idea.

The HRM kit is here;

Unsure which IDA/size but a breif descrition of the kit from various web site;

1/24 scale Engine Manifold Kit.Made to fit the Revell GT350 engine, and can be adapted to others. Contains 4 Weber carbs, 8 velocity stacks, intake manifold, fuel/waterlog dist, brass tube for venturi tubes and instructions.

Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland has 1/24-1/25 Weber side and down draft kits, in 48 IDA I believe.

No link but here is a description from there catalgue which I bought;

PA-11A Side Draft;

This is a nicely detailed Weber carb, similar to the kind you see on AC Cobra engines, thus it can also be used as a down draft Weber. The stacks are seperate pieces and are about scale 4" high. Another application would be on a straight 6 cylinder engine, where they would qualify as a side draft carb. We also provide a length of 1/32" brass "thin-wall" tubing for the venturi's inside the stacks.

PA-11B Down Draft;

This Weber is similar to the P-11A carbs, but a bit smaller. It can be used for side draft applications as well as down draft. The stacks are seperate pieces and are about scale 3" long. A length of 1/32" brass "thin-wall" tubing for the venturi's.

Harold is a great guy and makes fine products. The Replicas & Miniatures kit is very similar to the HRM kit pictured at the Fotki link, and of course excellent. Norm's delivery times are very fast, too.

[Edit]: Oh, now that I look at my R&M Weber kit, I see that Harold worked on the master, so I suspect the two are practically identical.

Call em, I'm sure they'd sell you parts. Again, these 2 guys are very very cool and easy to deal with.
