Super British classic sports car. Well done

Unfortunately Miss Rigg's co-star Patrick Macnee died just last week.

Thanks for all comments!

One of the cars I definitely have to get. Wasn't there a re-box of this like some of the other Gunze kits?

As for Mrs Peel

David, I think you are right. I am not sure, but I think some years ago Airfix sold some re-issues. Anyway IMO all Gunze kits deserve to be re-released.

BTW a very nice picture, maybe it explains what I mean ...

Lovely job, Jurgen. It looks perfect, especially the interior. I have the kit, too, so I know you don't get a whole lot to work with!

Have you got a Heller Bentley to convert to go with it, in memoriam Patrick Macnee?

All the best,

Matt

Matt, indeed I have an original Heller Bentley in the stash. Very interesting idea, who knows ...

Very nice build! I built the low tech one a few years ago, but had some trouble with my paint attacking the plastic.

A likeness in resin or vinyl might be available in a "garage"kit. It seems all the icons of TV and movies get done and usually if a good looking female helps :D

Very cool little car.I'm sure you could find some sort of resin figure to convert into Emma Peel.

When I said that I never found a replica of Mrs. Peel I had rather schaemen_zpsde6c16ac.gif a living replica in my mind ...

Very nice model. I really like the color. We had a B/W TV only when that show was on.

Scott

So did I in the sixties. The episodes with Diana Rigg , however, have been rerun so often on German TV (B/W the earlier epidodes, the later produced in colour) that I still remember the colour of Emma Peel's car.

Patrick Macnee was almost as popular as Diana Rigg to this day. All major German newspapers printed a short obituary last week, even the most important German weekly political news magazine "Der Spiegel".
