AzTom Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Very Nice! I'm working on a 1/64 Winross in the diecast section.
Jim B Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 That's a nice looking Autocar. It appears to have been well maintained.
Chuck Most Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Autocar.... Edited July 7, 2015 by Chuck Most
borz666 Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Thank you very much! superb pictures. I think I can speak for everyone when I say: More please!!
guitarsam326 Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) Thanks fellas, it was decently maintained, but there is some rust issues, but nothing that cant be remedied! There will be more pics, especially when we get it on a lift! Transmission is super tight, contrary to my expectations, and the engine fires on the first turn. Mechanically, this truck is solid! DRIPTROIT 71 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Nice Autocar! I would like to see more pictures of that engine!
guitarsam326 Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 Any of you guys on facebook? I got a video im gonna post.
guitarsam326 Posted August 4, 2015 Author Posted August 4, 2015 Ok, heres a short driving video, im filming, my brothers driving, its his first time by the way.
Petetrucker07 Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Man I love the sound of them old cummins. Sounds like your brother needs more practice shifting the old girl. Cool video.
guitarsam326 Posted August 4, 2015 Author Posted August 4, 2015 Yeah, he needs more practice, but in his defense, theres no room for error on this truck, you better be dead on when you shift.
Petetrucker07 Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 I bet. I was more or less just jokin. I know them old trannies are touchy.
Jim B Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Nice video. Old school iron: double clutching & Armstrong steering.
