I haven't been to the Kit Collectors Expo in many yrs. I started going about 20 yrs ago and

went on a regular basis back in the day. It was always so much fun!!

What I noticed today was about 85% of the show is aircraft related. It used to be mostly cars

but has turned towards aircraft and military. I've never seen so many airplane models and

military books at one of these shows. What's happening??

I was there yesterday and I agree, it was definitely mostly filled with aircraft and military themed-products. However, I ended up with an unopened version of one of my most highly-sought automobile kits for only $10 and a glue bomb that I liked. I met some great people and had some great conversations. I highly recommend attending this show as you're bound to find something you like.

Well, I'm glad to know this . . .

I was in LA area Thursday through Saturday for business, and strongly considered staying over Saturday night in order to go to Buena Park for my first time. However, if the mix was 85% military (or thereabouts), I'm glad I didn't waste the time and money.

We have enough military flea markets and swap meets around here; I don't need to invest in a CA event for that.

If we want to be exact here, I would have put it at around 65% military. It was definitely a bit of a turn-off but there were a lot of good car kits at great prices.
