lanesteele240 Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 How to you guys make windows look weathered. Im getting rust down. But windows are hard
Ramfins59 Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I've used masking tape to cover the window area where the windshield wipers would sweep across, and then spray the glass with dullcoat. It gives you a dirty glass effect.
David G. Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 You can also use an air brush to spray a fine mist of matte grey or tan paint or use the weathering powders in your picture. David G.
von Zipper Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I've used masking tape to cover the window area where the windshield wipers would sweep across, and then spray the glass with dullcoat. It gives you a dirty glass effect. That is how I do it too . But I like to use BMF because it leaves a crisper line-also use a compass to generate the radiuses (or is it radii ? ) of the wipers .
snacktruck67 Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 What has worked for me, and does a great job, I brush on some sidekick accelerator. Sort of gives that dirty look.

I've seen this car in person and what Chris did to this looks really great. Dan
