Drewstang Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 The building in the back ground is Waverly Hills TB Sanatorium. I live about 5 miles from there and worked security in 2002 for several months. Oddly enough there was a guy who had a red CV LX of this same body style who worked with us. I used my 1995 Mustang GT to intercept some people trespassing at the front gate that faces Dixie Hwy on several occasions. I could get down the winding driveway faster than they could run down the hill in the woods lol.
Tom Geiger Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I don't know about this situation but maybe they had issues getting approvals to run actual police car logs? I know that Revell / Monogram / Model King had issues getting approvals for the cities on their original proposal of the decal sheet in the '57 Ford police car. So maybe they are using generic security firm decals because there's no approvals and it's free? Personally, as a light commercial builder, I like the idea of security decals, as you can see below! Agent G Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Tom you might be on to something. Many many departments no longer license the reproduction of their respective markings. That and overall expense.G
