Started with Fujimi's Dino Ferrari 246 GT kit (no engine detail) added openings to front bonnet, painted with Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red, applied Studio27 decals, cleared with Tamiya TS-13 Clear and finished off with Bare Metal Foil

Intersting build - never knew they raced the Dino like that. I'm diggin it!!

Yes it raced like that in 1972 at the Lemans 24 hours.

Very nice build Curt. I like em clean like that.

Not to be critical, there were intakes in the lower portion of the rear quarterpanel just ahead of the tire.

I didn't have any photos to build off of other than the illustration that came with the Studio27 decals -

noticed from your photo that the fuel cap was recessed and the slots on the hood are actually louvers instead of openings, dang!!!

Don't beat yourself up. It's still a nice piece that you should be proud of.
