Anybody tell me if the suspension in the 50 Olds custom is already lowered?

No it's not, but it's a very straightforward procedure to lower it.

My bad. I have the stocker on the shelves...thought I had a custom too, and had compared. 

The custom version box art does indeed appear to be somewhat lowered.

Still, to lower either of them more is straightforward.

The custom kit does have lowered suspension. The stock kit does not. As Ace pointed out,, either are easy to play with should you want to go even lower.

Thanks guys. Picked up the custom kit recently with a HL coupon for the tires and engine. I have a stock version but want it lowered so will use the parts from custom kit. I'm going to use the custom engine in a hydro boat that will go behind the Olds. That engine should look great in that boat. Olds engines were real popular in boats where I grew up in 50's and 60's
