gardnerpag44 Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Very nice build Mike really like the color choice and great details
forthlin Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 Beautiful!BTW... I love that Krylon "Short Cuts" paints myself. Use it all the time.Just one question... and I could be wrong... but wasn't the clear roof panel on those cars made of Plexiglass that was tinted a very obvious green?I'm not sure if they were plexiglass but they were tinted.
Ron Hamilton Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Excellent build of a pretty car. I have always liked the '56 Ford.
DumpyDan Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Nice work, good color combo Looks good, and color combo right on.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I'm not sure if they were plexiglass but they were tinted. Yes, they were Plexiglas, and were treated with a tint that Ford said to block and absurd amount of UV light, what didn't happen, and those cars were like a greenhouse under the sun. By the way, this build is so awesome, that inspired me to build my old AMT '56 that was in the stash for years still sealed. Will post her soon, as I'm waiting for a little sun to take outside pictures. Yeah, you are guilty, hope you think about what you have done
Sixties Sam Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Nice! Great color and chassis details. Good work!Sam
Bob Ellis Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Good choice with the coral color. I found some coral spray at Michael's that was locked and had to ask for it. Not exactly easy to find around here. But its a typical '50s Ford color.
Fordy_Styles Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Nice work, how do you like the Krylon paint?
