Tom Geiger Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I didn't see this post til now, but I dropped by my San Francisco (Colma, CA actually) Michael's yesterday and everything was at the usual price. The paint section looked like it had been ransacked by visigoths - same as when I was there a month ago. Wish they'd straighten it out and restock! Given it was in Colma I'm guessing the damage wasn't from Visigoths. It Was Zombies!! not either... more likely messed up by Numpties!
ZTony8 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Went back to one of the local Michaels,no luck on a Dart kit.But I did score a Revell '67 Chevelle Pro Street kit for $6.99 whose SKU came up as the '77 Trans Am kit that was on clearance(the Chevelle wasn't supposed to be a clearance item).
horsepower Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) The sweet wife made a special trip by on her way home from work yesterday, and the employees at our Michaels had no idea what she was talking about when she asked about plastic models on clearance, one even called the manager at home to ask about them. He was just as much in the dark as we were. Edited August 12, 2015 by horsepower
Captain Obvious Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I stopped by my local Michael's yesterday. They had a handful of kits that were on clearance, but the clearance price was $11.99-12.99, so I passed.
ChrisBcritter Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Just an update: Went to the Glenview Michael's today and saw that the sale kits had all been moved to the clearance aisle.
