Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Has anyone purchased anything from Ma's Resin recently? I sent Alan an email a few days ago and haven't heard back from him. Or can anyone suggest a good source for off-road wheels/tires?ThanksJay
64SS350 Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 I purchased some from this guy on Ebay..nice stuffhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/1-25-SUPER-SWAMPER-37-T21-/151770118633?hash=item23563439e9
mikemodeler Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Chief Joseph has some nicely cast resin tires and his service is quick. Also check with Danny at Scenes Unlimited, another caster with great product and quick service. Alan at Ma's Resin has some nice tires, just not sure what is going on with his business. I ordered a bunch of tires several years ago and it took a while to get them.
Ben Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Chief Joseph will have a brand-new tire soon! I have been begging him to draw it up and cast it for a while now! Can't wait to get some!!!

Ben Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 (edited) Hey Dan, no that truck is not mine. I just found that picture on Google images to show what the tires would look like. Joseph is the best! Everything I have ever got from him was 10 times better than I expected! He will be making these tires but they may not be ready for a month or two. I'm sure he will let us know when they can be purchased. I'll be buying at least three sets myself! Edited August 8, 2015 by Ben
ferrarijoe Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I got these super swampers from scenes unlimited (he has a few different types) and had Jim at micro nitro make the wheels for me.

Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 Cool stuff! Thanks for the leads. I'll check out the Cheif first. Thanks guys! I got these super swampers from scenes unlimited (he has a few different types) and had Jim at micro nitro make the wheels for me. Micro Nitro's got some really nice stuff but kind of pricey.
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 26" HMMMMM!?!?! Those might work for another project, The HummaDually. PM on it's way.
