Monty Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 If you don't mind me asking, what color is the red one. Been looking for a color close to that.I agree, that's a fantastic color so I'd also like to know the specific paint you used.
tbill Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 looking real good so far, and as mentioned, that red is beautiful.
Can-Con Posted December 18, 2015 Author Posted December 18, 2015 Thanks guys. Some of you are asking about the red on the first one. Sorry, I had thought I had answered sooner ,,anyway,, I can't really give a good answer to that queation as I don't know exactly what it is myself. A friend of mine runs the bodyshop at a local Ford dealer. few years ago he dropped off a box of leftover paint in touchup bottles. This is one of them. All it says on the top of the bottle is "Contour red". Last year Contours were made was 2000 so, my best educated guess is the paint is 2000 Ford Toreador red.
Can-Con Posted January 5, 2016 Author Posted January 5, 2016 The red one is now finished and posted in the "under glass" section.
