ProStreetOnTheStrip Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I would say for interior, maybe a tan, or light brown
tbill Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 Don, yes, has a ton of flake in it.tan was mentioned by another friend of mine, i think i will paint the interior tub and see how tan looks 'live'.
tbill Posted August 29, 2015 Author Posted August 29, 2015 thanks all. i decided on a dark green for the interior, hope to have some pic's of that after the weekend.

Oddly enough, I have Photoshop 7 (with about 150 additional filters), but have never really used it for much except resizing pictures. I really should experiment with it some, I guess.
Roadrunner Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I've become a big fan of the Testors metallics. Granted, they're not everyones cup o' tea, but I like them a lot.

Roadrunner Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Have you figured out a way to deal with the chrome lips of the hood intake yet, Tom? It appears that no chrome parts are given, nor are any lines molded in as a guide.
tbill Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 i haven't yet, been working on several small parts to get them in paint so i can start building something, lol. i will take a closer look here in a bit and see what it looks like.
tbill Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 looks like i may try to bmf each entire 'scoop' and blackwash the 'screen' part of them.
Roadrunner Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Yep, me too, though I'm not yet convinced 100% that I'll bother to try it.
