Bear in mind that this is an old, cranky guy voicing an opinion but in my humble opinion the molds are more than worn out. None of the body panels on mine would line up, the door panels are different thicknesses right to left and if you build it with the trunk lid closed I had to do a lot of shimming & block sanding to get a respectable fit. If you turn the fenders over there are globs of plastic that need to be evened out. That was a day's worth with the Dremel, files & sandpaper.

The good news is that as far as I know this is the first time since the original release that the kit comes with all the original parts and there is no such thing as an unbuildable kit. Micheal's build is proof of that.

What made it a miserable kit? I recently got one of these and I've never built it before.

To what Mike and All already said, I'll add the wrong door length for building a stock '36 Roadster. 

Built one myself as a bone stock '36, and had to rescribe the door lines. The roadster doors are shorter.
