Revel cuda' donated its exhaust manifolds, flipped backwards. A bit of .100 rod and a cut up paint brush and we have an exhaust now. Paint is drying as we speak.

I tried the reversed headers idea few years ago using copper electrical wire. I couldn't make the joints as clean as you did so I went with the wrap. Which didn't last unfortunately. Yours is much nicer than what I ended up with.

that's pretty cool! The beauty of posing on the Internet, is I don't have to post all the tries that failed! Ha

Small update, made a driveshaft out of aluminum tubing and the ends from the 32. Also tweaked the exhaust down a bit to make room for the steering rod.

Got to the detailing on the engine tonight, glad that's almost over! My eyeballs hurt.

started easy with some oil staining on the oil filter and plug

then moved on to throttle linkage and fuel delivery.

Love this build! Thanks for sharing the in progress details. Pretty risky location for a radiator, did you put the electric fan on the underside, or did you not install it yet?
