Speaking of Magnum Force, anyone else ever realize that the Magnum Force went on to become Hutch, Dan Tanner, Otter, and a guy on SWAT?B)

I never really got into cowboy movies but I like The Outlaw Josie Wales---------Dirty Harry is the reason I never put ketchup on a hot dog....

My favorite Clint Eastwood performance was when he was talking to an empty chair.........zclint_endtable1_zpszlo7e3an.jpg

That's the 8 3/8" barrel. Harry used the 6.5" barrel. ( A much better looking and better balanced gun, IMHO.)

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Thunderbolt and Lightfoot. It is one of the good movies too.

I really like  A Fistful of Dollars   and For a Few Dollars More, Kelly's Heroes is his best war movie I think next to Heartbreak Ridge.

I was at Wally World the other day, and found a 5 movie Clint Eastwood-Dirty Harry collection. It has

Dirty Harry,

Magnum Force,

The Enforcer,

Sudden Impact,

and The Dead Pool.

Paid $7.98 for the collection!

Where Eagles Dare is another good one. Hard to go wrong with Clint and Richard Burton.

I suspect an 8 3/8" barrel fan must have written that entry. I've probably seen DH and MF 20 times each and I've never seen one of the long barrels on film, only the 6.5-inchers.

I've also seen one of the actual guns used in the movie. It's in the NRA museum. And it's definitely a 6.5" B)
