Platerpants Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 (edited) When I built this corvette I thought it was a unique paint scheme. Well I went to the corvette museum and saw a freshly built 1:1 version of this model.... darn. Oh the museum was not the goal. Me and my best friend set out to texas for his friends wedding and to go junkyard hopping, I had hopes to find parts for my 75 f250. .. sadly I did not. The 1:1 was sunburst orange with the black hood stripe and black roof. Well i could either find them with the black roof or the black stripe not both so thats why i did the model that way turns out some guy ordered one like it....My model is fiery orange with metalic black roof and stripe. hgbben Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 That museum was great experience. Was just there 3 weeks ago for an event at the NCM Motorsports Park right across the freeway from the museum.
