I finished it last night and gave a little polish this morning.

Started with this kit.

It's painted in Duplicolor Ford Cayman Green Met. The paint was coated with Future and got a final polish with Novis # 1. The motor is from a 68 Mustang Shelby GT 500, with resin carbs. The front wheels are from Scale Equipment LTD and the battery box is from Calnaga Catings.. I tried to use some gasser parts from my small parts supply, but I couldn't get the stance I wanted with what I have on hand, so the chassis is in no way realistic. I used Gofer decals for the gauges and sponsor decals on the rear window. The floor shift and roll bar are from my spare parts. This is my first try at BMFing the small letters and logos, so I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Thanks. I thought about leaving the mirrors off, but as I wanted a street looking car I put them on. The location is where the holes were to mount them, But I maybe should have moved it closer to the window and went with one. I had an old Ford years ago and I remember the mirror being mounted to far down the fender to reach from the inside. People got a kick out of moving the mirror around and watching me get in and out of the car adjusting it.

Yep, it's green. I've never done a green model, and wanted a lighter shade shade. The cap color looked a couple of shades lighter in the store, but I my have put it on heaver that the cap color. Maybe I should have gone with silver over the primer to get it a little lighter.
