Any idea how to remove a decal?

I want to remove some decals from one model but I just want to take them down from the model but not hurt the decals.

And after a re-paint I want to use them again...

It's made from cartograf  and it has been apply for some times...

wondering if my idea can be realized?

I'm going to say it's impossible. I wish I had a different answer for you.

You can try soaking it in water and see if it floats off.  Then use glue from the blank areas of decal sheets to restick it.  I actually did this successfully back in my early modeling days, but it was with a decal that had just been applied a few hours earlier.

Brett's idea sounds good, but I would suggest that if you are able to get the decals off in one piece you should scan them so that you could make new decals. This would also give you an extra set of decals that you could use for a team car or any thing else.

their is no way to remove it and save it ..

You'll spend less time looking for another set. Almost impossible to impossible especially if they have been cleared over.

Many things that seem impossible turn out to be possible if you have enough time, talent, patience and skill.

However...I don't think this is one of them.
