sfhess Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I was just on the Modelhaus website and was able to place a couple of orders. I sure hope Don and Carol don't get caught in a tidal wave.
aurfalien Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Says it's still down for me. StrangeClear your browser cache.
sfhess Posted October 15, 2015 Author Posted October 15, 2015 (edited) I had to hunt for the list I made of parts I wanted to order. It has been sitting on my desk for a long time. Edited October 15, 2015 by sfhess
Ramfins59 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I had no problem bringing the site up. Now if I just had the necessary funds to place my order......
JTalmage Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Odd. I went to the site not 5 minutes later and it worked
aurfalien Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Odd. I went to the site not 5 minutes later and it worked Browsers refresh there cache for performance reasons but not always on time. They are complex applications for sure. Its all about speed and since the internet is so bloated these days, browsers employ tricks etc to try and produce a pleasing surfing experiance. To me however its not always the case. Unsure which browser you are using but I have become VERY dismayed with FireFox, talk about bloatware.
JTalmage Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I'm using Chrome, however its on my work PC. And I have tons of passwords and things saved in Chrome for work... so I didnt even attempt to clear my cache or cookies or any of that stuff. I have way too much garbage I have to remember passwords for that I don't feel like doing.

The thing you do loose when clearing cache is the initial form fill but the browser will fill it and ask that you submit. Or somthing like that.In fact you can get a browser plugin that lets you edit your passwords database. I ran into an issue where a vendor site didn't program there login/password feilds correctly so i had to force a form auto fill.
Roncla Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I placed an order on Thursday. Thats probably Friday in American time. They are saying 4 to 12 weeks deivery on the receipt.
