exesivefire
This one will be heavily inspired by this ride I found on Instagram a while ago. got a deal on a not so awesome AMT kit and away we go.. The real one has a two inch chop, so out came the razor saw I ended up just removing the rear portion, laying it forward a bit, and moving its location up a bit. mocked up on a parts box wheel and some lowrider dunlop tires. I think we are headed somewhere

bobthehobbyguy
Cool project. How did you widen the tires and what did you start with?
exesivefire
Cool project. How did you widen the tires and what did you start with?Started with the tires from the Revell lowrider kits. Used an extra set of tires and sliced them down the center, leaving and extra rib on one side.

exesivefire
This body is rough!! Spent a lot of time cleaning mold lines, scribing panel lines and general cleanup. I even had to split the front at a mold line and glue it back together it was so far off. I also removed the molded in wipers and the side emblems.  Edited October 19, 2015 by exesivefire
exesivefire
The rear trim left a lot to be desired, so I built that back up

exesivefire
Haha, just cause it's cruddy doesn't mean it's not gonna get done right. sprayed a quick coat of primer to see where I am.. Have a lot of work to do. I also stated modifying the custom seats into some bomber style seats. Â
