Plastheniker Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Very nice interior and excellent foil work particularly on the rear chrome scripts.I see reflections of fluorescent tubes on your paintwork. I never got satisfying results when taking pictures under such lighting, because even the best paintwork always looked poor and most colours were badly distorted. IMO the best lighting are 2 or 3 daylight energy saver bulbs 40W or 60W: direct lighting for solid paints, indirect lighting in an improvised photographer's tent for metallics (in order to avoid the out-of-scale look of the metallic particles).
Ron Hamilton Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 Looks really good, I did not realize the chrome trim went all the way around the top on the back of the front seats, is that correct for the 1/1 or is that artistic license on your part? It is correct. I looked at a few of them at Fords at Carlisle when I was able to attend the show. As a matter of fact, I had to reshape the trim to make it look more realistic. I did the same thing on my '64 and '65 Galaxies. I grew up with them, and several friends and family members had them.

Very cool, I haven't been in one in about 35 years. Now I need to redo the seats in the 66 i built!
bbowser Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Wow! Great model, especially the interior work and the hubcaps, very convincing.
Harry P. Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, so I'll just agree! Beautiful model, absolutely gorgeous color scheme... a terrific model of one of the best looking Fords ever, IMO.
RandyB. Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Very nice Ron...looks super. Like the color too!
donb Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 The 66 Ford Galaxie was a sharp looking car. Even today it still looks good. Beautiful work!
