69NovaYenko Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Before I purchase it I`d like to know if the Model King/AMT kit of Phil Bonner `65 Mustang Daddy Warbucks have this forced cold air induction setup. If it does not is there a 1:25 kit that has this setup. Thanks in advance for the assistance. Edited November 2, 2015 by 69NovaYenko
Greg Myers Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Some of the AMT '65 Galaxies have a set up with a "cold air" box ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23dNkKTZ_LE
gtx6970 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 The mustang kit doesnt have tha setup in it,,,it has 8 injectors The Revell thunderbolt has a air cleaners setup similar to the one shown
High octane Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 The Phil Bonner Daddy Warbucks '65 Falcon ran that set up before he switched to fuel injection, if I'm not mistaken.

However, I`m was hoping to find that exact same setup as the one pictured above. The Ford Thunderbolt and Galaxie kits have dual carbs in an "inline" configuration. The project I`m planning a dual carb "cross ram" setup. So unfortunately the forced cold air setup from the Thunderbolt/Galaxie kits are not designed to fit the cross ram configuration.
