Beautiful Avanti! I used to see these every now and then as a kid and have always loved 'em! I'm a Studebaker guy at heart as I love all the Hawks, 1959-61 Larks, and Avanti's.

Nick, they were definitely RWD! These were built long before the automakers knelt to the altar of Front Wheel Drive...............but that's slowly starting to change now.

Very nice, when I was growing up there was someone in the area with an Avanti, not sure where but I'd see the car going down the street from time to time. Very unusual car and from what I understand pretty fast too. I had a kit of one of these at one time but like many of my old kits I have no idea what happend to it.

BEAUTIFUL!!! The Avanti is by far my all time favorite car ever! When I was little my dad had an Avanti that I always called my car (we are talking like i was maybe 2) but he had to sell it and i had to live life for many years with out an Avanti (a very sad time). I have often threatened to name a little girl Avanti (this little girls name is going to be Amelia but if we get pregnant again with another little girl i just may have to name her Avanti)

Been along time since I've seen one of those built. A friend of mine had real one along time ago. He had some Hawks and Larks also. Nice looking build you have there. I have a couple I need to build some day.
