This Mustang was originally a '70 Mustang by Palmer Scale Models. It got updated like the Challenger did.

The plain chassis is really a copy of the AMT '69 Mustang annual kit. AMT designed that kit chassis like a promo; 1 piece. It's amazing how well Palmer copied the AMT.

If you ever find a Palmer '70 Mustang, buy it. It makes a decent beginning to a Boss 302/429 in 1/25 scale. The other Bosses are the '70 MPC and '70 Monogram/Revell.

The Mustang, Challenger and Corvette are the only 1/25 Palmer kits ever made. Not to be confused with those other horrible 1/32? multi-piece caricatures that box tops promised cars that could not be delivered in the box.

Nice Mustang Ritchie,

that VHT paint was a great choice!!

Hey .. thanks Roy.  I really didn't know how it would work, as it's high temp ceramic paint good to 2000 degrees!  ..  it worked out nice and now I have a model that if the house burns down my 71 Mustang model will be protected!  Lol ...............
