this kit started off as a Revell Peterbilt 359 continental set. ive got a good part of two weeks after work on this. all details are painted with toothpicks. i don't have the fancy set-ups most of you guys have, but i enjoy the concentration and planning this hobby takes. tell me what you guys think, and i can always use pointers! thanks all!

Welcome nick.. You did an amazing job on your first truck.. You can make a nice looking piece without all the fancy equipment.. We all use toothpicks for small details.. Hope to see more from you!

Good looking truck Nick, hope to see more. I like the paint work, looks pretty smooth and straight. You show a lot of attention to detail.

On the toothpick thing, my wife keeps wondering were her kitchen box of picks keeps disappearing to

    Nick,

Welcome to the Forum and the World of Big truck models.

You Peterbilt looks terrific. Your paint detailing is very good. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Also I would like to see  build threads from you. To see some of your techniques.

As for the toothpicks. I would guess we all use them. I have found .No matter all the fancy tools I have on the bench. I end up using the same few.

But I have the rest should I need them!! lol
