Well Said! I have some moebius kits, just not big rigs because i dont like modern trucks, im just not that into them, especially the aerodynamically styled trucks lime the prostar and lonestar, and i am in no way a casual truck builder, thats basically all i build, old iron's what flips my trigger so i for one am ecstatic about round 2's reissues.

I'm with you 100%, I just don't care for modern light weight aerodynamic wonders . I'll  only buy re issues of old trucks an new kits of old trucks, case in point the Moebius  F 100's. Does anyone know if this kit has been a  success or loser with Moebius yet?  I'm guessing they done pretty well with them. I am sure AMT had the chance in '71,  when all the blueprints were still available, but dropped the ball. Its all water under the bridge now with what AMT chose to do and not to do, but it seems more and more like a case of bad management at AMT. I'm hoping Moebius comes thru on more overlooked classics, maybe a '73-'79 Chevy longbed pickup or ....................

I think they had a hit, especially with the 69. Im kicking myself for not grabbing one in the first few weeks. I cant find one anywhere.

The Moebius  F 100 is primarily the kit that got me back into modeling again, as well  new resin truck cab offerings and re issues of large trucks. A benefit of the reissued trucks is the chassis can be pirated for  older resin cabs that are offered, which boasts sales for resin casters  as well. Bottom line, money talks,  if the sales for these new Moebius pickups kits are a major success, which I think they are, they will be scrambling to do more never done before oldies!

I'm glad to see the Papa truck but it'dones makes the over $150 I spent on two of the blue AMT K100s without the ramp body a pretty bad investment.

try not to feel to bad....who hasn't  done that....,Chris

Going by my past. I'll probably end up with a case. Hopefully I get financial issues squared away soon. Too much cool stuff coming.

hope you get thru your financial issues and wish you the best.

if you need I will send you one of my freightshaker sd kits for free, whenever I score them !

Dammit man, now that's a buddy right there. I'm hoping to have problems squared away soon. Just need work to pick up, can't pay for things when I'm not working.

I know the work thing all too well. four years ago I left the trucking company I was working for to pursue my old career fixing cars.

that only lasted two years , then was unemployed for the summer of 2014. that was no fun.

luckily for me the trucking company called me back when they found out I was out of work and hired me back.

I got a job in the dispatch office as a dispatcher (on the other side of the fence !), and I only drive occasionally now to make extra money.

I'm exploring other options. The company I quit to work where I'm at now call me every so often. Just a month ago actually.

He bought a new polished set of pneumatic trailers, offered to let me order a Peterbilt and pay half my benefits. But, I quit there before, because of the way that old man operated, like it was 70s still. I've heard things have changed in years since I quit. I might go see him soon, see if things have really changed.

Was this reissue mentioned? Not sure if it's the Conventional or Cabover version, though:
