Timonator Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 What does everyone use for holding really small parts for painting ?
kitbash1 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I use a tooth pick to hold my small parts for painting. I drill a small hole in the part, on the gluing surface so the hole is hidden. Or I just stick it to a piece masking tape on a square of cardboard.

StevenGuthmiller Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Ditto.Usually just a small piece of tape wadded up on the end of a tooth pick. Steve
drsnapper55 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I use the setup pictured above except I will use the alligator to hold a used up no. 11 blade stuck in to a part. Even blades with a broken tip will work.

Harry Joy Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Yup, alligator clips and toothpicks on a Styrofoam stand I made a few years ago. Sometimes tape.

Ramfins59 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Yup, alligator clips and toothpicks on a Styrofoam stand I made a few years ago. Sometimes tape.Me too. I have a couple of blocks of styrofoam on my bench for just that purpose, along with a box of wooden toothpicks, wooden skewers and a dozen alligator clips...... and don't forget spring loaded clothespins.
