Bennyg Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 (edited) Hi fellas. I have a soft spot for 1/32 trucks and especially Mack trucks of any scale. I'm considering doing a 1/32 Mack Super-Liner hood conversion for the Australian version and maybe the American version. The cab on the Revell R series is vastly superior to the AMT cab but the AMT cab has a great day cab panel. What are your thoughts? Edited August 30, 2018 by Bennyg
Old Buckaroo Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Howdy Benny,I really dont know much about these Mack's - I do have the AMT hid away somewhere. I would imagine a "day panel conversion" would be welcomed for the Revell kit as it looks like the sleeper is molded to the cab. A 60" Able body sleeper would be really cool. There seems to be more guys over at Hanks that build 1/32 trucks and you might get more feedback .

Bennyg Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 I've made a small start on this. I've moulded "Mack" badges. Plan to do bullet lights tomorrow. Planning the cab and bonnet as well. Ben
Edsel-Dan Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I Like the Idea, but would be hard pressed to join in.You are correct in that the Monogram/Revell R does have the Sleeper cast as part of the cabI had to fill in the rear of the cab when I bashed one with the Pumper kit from themI removed the sleeper to use on another project.

I'm doing this for myself anyway. I definitely want to do an Australian conversion bonnet, day cab panel and maybe an Australian sleeper. Will see how it turns out. Ben
Bennyg Posted August 18, 2016 Author Posted August 18, 2016 (edited) gHi fellas. I've made a start on this side project. Plan to cast the Mack bullet marker lights and the day cab panel to give some options for the revell Mack R series. Cheers Ben Edited August 30, 2018 by Bennyg
Bennyg Posted August 19, 2016 Author Posted August 19, 2016 Keep the photos coming, Like it so far!Cheers for the support. I am looking at doing an American version combining the front section of the amt cab with the he remaining Revell r series cab. Do you reckon people would like that as a possible conversion? Maybe I should mould the amt chassis without the reyco back end? Ben
Bennyg Posted August 19, 2016 Author Posted August 19, 2016 (edited) Day cab panel is almost done. Needs a bit more neatening up then I'll cast it when I get home. Edited August 30, 2018 by Bennyg
Bennyg Posted September 19, 2016 Author Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) I'm casting the day cab panel, super-liner hood/bonnet and bullet lights this fortnight. Here are some pics. Edited August 30, 2018 by Bennyg
Bennyg Posted September 21, 2016 Author Posted September 21, 2016 (edited) A little more progress. Making the American super liner cab. Combining revell and Amt cab parts. This is intended to fit with the revell r series. Edited August 30, 2018 by Bennyg
Bennyg Posted December 1, 2016 Author Posted December 1, 2016 this is turning out greatCheers. It's on the back burner for now. I want to finish a few trucks and cars before I mould this.Ben
Edward Gore Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Creative conversion project. The only 1/32 tractor I've built was an old Monogram snap-tite kit and I militarized it.

Edward Gore Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Happy New Year. Sorry for delayed reply. I don't have a photo right now but if I dig it out of mothballs, I can take a few if you want.

Edward Gore Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Hi Ben, I dug that old model out and took some pictures. I guess it's more "road warrior / post apoc / technical" than militarized. Want to see them here in your thread or in PM?

Edward Gore Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Ok, be warned of orbital trauma by viewing these pictures. I have no idea where the wheels went and some of it has fallen apart since assembly. http://i515.photobucket.com/albums/t357/Bogyoke/models/GMC_General_boxart_zpszr141v3o.jpg http://i515.photobucket.com/albums/t357/Bogyoke/models/GMC_General_t_zpsc8efvzgs.jpg http://i515.photobucket.com/albums/t357/Bogyoke/models/GMC_General_r_zpsf1g2sjgl.jpg http://i515.photobucket.com/albums/t357/Bogyoke/models/GMC_General_f_zpsdmfdgo2n.jpg http://i515.photobucket.com/albums/t357/Bogyoke/models/GMC_General_rh_zpst8calp8p.jpg http://i515.photobucket.com/albums/t357/Bogyoke/models/GMC_General_fl_zpsgczki4qc.jpg thanks for looking
