Revell/Moebius Car Hauler (DONE) 1-24-2016

Finally got something else going.....I can't believe it's taken me this long to come up with something else to build....Been working a lot, but even when I wasn't, the inspiration bug would not bite....Well.....It bit the other day.....Started this car hauler reissue.....Somehow, I think I can convert this into a 7 car hauler, but not this time....I'm going to build this one box stock, for the most part, but with a few custom features you'll see later.....And that's right, Boys....It WILL be orange, too.....Dropped the paint on it just about an hour ago.....Anyways....Here's what I got so far......

Well its about time. I guess we are too much alike. We both got some motivation about the same time. This is gonna be good. I'm sure you'll be makin some of your diamond plate tool boxes and some other things. Can't wait to see more AND what you decide to put under it truck wisr.

Thanks, Boys....It's good to be back....I don't know what cars I'll be sticking on the back, but I do know it will get a Lonestar up front.....I'll be working to get that started very soon....Also a set of Moebius wheels and tires will adorn the suspension.....Other than that, a few more custom touches and this will be done....This is what I have done thus far.....

Hey Jt , looking real good.  Does the Lonestar not come with the wheels and tires as in the BIg Rig wheel and tire set ?

JT, it must of been a season I'm in the same position as you and now getting back into building again. There is a lot you can do with these trailers your JT Orange looks good on it too and the Lonestar will make for a nice combination.

Interesting project!  The kit looks quite delicate and I can imagine that getting parts to align properly is difficult.  Your doing a great job of it so far.

Got a little more done between last night and today.....Got the wheels on and all that's left for the kit stuff is the plumbing.....I've started the Lonestar, as well.....I've got a really good feeling about this whole model....This is starting to get fun....

Got some paint laid down.....Took these pics from my phone....It's actually much smoother than it appears....I'll have to get some better shots, later....
