No, SKIPPY didn't do all of this, but it was all stuff he's been cautioned against doing at one point or another, even if someone else did it and command turned around and told him not to, just in case. Except for the personal lubricant bit...that was totally unrelated to him, but still funny.) Edited March 26, 2008 by Nick F40
dub Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 This is one really funny list of rules! Even for those of us without military experience. I read the whole list and when I got to #'s 145 and 146, I started to laugh hysterically for nearly a minute! If my better half would have been awake, she would have questioned me for sure! I also thought 148 and 152 were really freakin' funny too. Classic stuff! Thanks Nick. I'm surprised you read all of them with your attention span.....

marinewifejones Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Nick I have to agree whole heartedly with #206 I would send this to my "brother" but it might give him ideas (he is in the navy)
Aaronw Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 87. If the thought of something makes me giggle for longer than 15 seconds, I am to assume that I am not allowed to do it. That is going into my station rules, fire crews are almost as bad as military personnel when it comes to entertaining themselves. There are a couple others I may need to borrow, great list but your friend must have a very patient CO.

lordairgtar Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I think I pee'd myself and my face hurts from laughing so hard. I have done #148 in preparing for a performance of Kenny Rodger's "I Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In" during a karaoke contest on the stage. Peoples eyes got real big as I popped all those "pills".
m408 Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Why laugh? They all make sense to me. Would just add one. Never salute an officer with only one finger.
mageckman Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Never salute an officer with only one finger. Or two!! I have done this. but, luckily for me, I'm in fire and not the military, and I'm in good with the officer. One that my brother(a disabled marine) told me about was : don't knock the hat of the DI, even if he dares you to.
Nick F40 Posted March 27, 2008 Author Posted March 27, 2008 Never salute an officer with only one finger don't knock the hat of the DI, even if he dares you to. I like that one!
Billy Kingsley Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 My favorites were 52 and 77... Even not being in the military there are some of those I could use elsewhere By the way, this is the 3rd board I've seen this on
