djmcguire Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 That rear end looks fantastic...appears to be some quality pieces.
disabled modeler Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 very nice work..! I dig the tires too.
muddragger92 Posted January 1, 2016 Author Posted January 1, 2016 The power plant im not real sure cant really find any places tht does resin big block motors. I was wantin to go with a 632ci or a 715ci motor cause those are the size motors me an my dad use in our mud trucks. But I cant find any tht goes past 572ci. So any help would be great on finding resin motors.
muddragger92 Posted January 1, 2016 Author Posted January 1, 2016 Here is my 715ci motor in my mud truck
muddragger92 Posted January 1, 2016 Author Posted January 1, 2016 Then here is my dads 632ci in his mud truck.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 B-N-L resin has some engines that are similar and might could be modified to your specs. They sell them on Ebay as well.
mikemodeler Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Check out VCG Resins, he has some nice motors and I am guessing that from the outside, a 572 will look similar to a 715. Ross Gibson had some pro stock motors but unfortunately he has passed away and I am not sure if anyone has picked up his product line.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 V.C.G has some awesome looking stuff on their website.
muddragger92 Posted January 6, 2016 Author Posted January 6, 2016 Thanks for the tips an V.C.G has alot of great stuff on their website an its not outrageously price. So I have got a motor an some other goodies on the way so hope to have some updated pics soon.

muddragger92 Posted June 2, 2016 Author Posted June 2, 2016 Wha is the best way to paint tires? Like wha kinda paint to make them look real.? I got a set of paddle tires for my mud truck an kinda scared to paint then cause I don't wanna screw them up lol
Jurva Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 If you can, order some tire black color. Many manufactures offer them. Also you could mix something up. Anybody has an idea how to mix tyre color?
Rider Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Super looking project, and some nice mountain motors. Tamiya offers a tire/rubber paint.
muddragger92 Posted August 31, 2016 Author Posted August 31, 2016 Well I have got some work done on the mud truck the last couple of days got some of the roll cage made but bare with me it's the first time I have made a custom cage so the quality is not like most of the ppl on this forum. But if any of you guys could give any tips or tricks to how make custom cages fill free to tell me. I have also made the seat brackets an also made a cover for the from of the scoop made out of foam.
