bandit1 Posted February 1, 2016 Author Posted February 1, 2016 Everything is sub'd in the lower pic... I just need styrene sheets to build out the hood and cab filler panels...
bandit1 Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 Update- Nothing done just monthly update to keep qualified... may have styrene in a week or two to build that hood and cab filler corners?
Old Buckaroo Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 (edited) That is quite the drain hole they have in that oil filter. I just noticed your engine, you may want to reverse your oil pan so the sump is forward. I had to do that on my Pete 377 with a 3406 so the tie rod would clear. I I got this tip from over at "Tim's site" Edited February 22, 2016 by Old Buckaroo

gatorincebu Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I believe that filter is a fuel filter. As right above it is a hand fuel pump for when you have to bleed off the air in the injectors etc.that little knob looking this is the hand pump. Be Well Gator

bandit1 Posted May 14, 2016 Author Posted May 14, 2016 Got some .030 clear sheet plastic via K&S Precision Metals from Hobby Lobby with my 40% off coupon... as well as some Tamiya putty and some paint for this and my sba build...Wondering if this would do for my hood building project?... never done anything like this before?
bandit1 Posted June 5, 2016 Author Posted June 5, 2016 Update for June... Found out the clear sheet that I got is wrong... It's to brittle and wont hold together with glue to well so back to hobby lobby to trade it in to get what is really needed... darn...
Mopar - D Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Sean don't give up your off to a good start and you will make it through sometimes it takes me a couple times to get things the way I want them. Looking forward to seeing more progress.
