First 2016 build "Update" Need input on build

Its an old vintage kit from curbside dioramics with a little scratch building to finish it up.

Got the compressor painted. I'm debating on whether to use the belt gaurd or not. The gaurd seems to kill the belt and pulley detail. What do you guys think.
