Belugawrx Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 (edited) Squirrel.... Ok so this happened..... Thnx to David Sutherland aka Jhedir6 Then this happened.... And I promise this will be the last T-Thrust Pegasus build you will see out of me,.... (cause that's my last set) Thinking of doing this first one as a show truck 2WD,...so let the lowering begin !! The rear looks fairly straight forward,...trailing arms get unsprung,....will get bagged. Front is a different matter , but I see an angle,....maybe.... I'll be back Cheers Edited February 29, 2016 by Belugawrx

Atmobil Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I really like the two last ones there. The red one I have seen a lot of pictures of before. I do actually have many pictures of it on my harddrive that have been taken during it's restoration. I found them on some site some years ago. I don't want to post them here but if you want I can email them to you. For me personally the pictures of the first and second of your projects are a great example of what wheels/tires, stance and some details do to a vehicle. The white one is in my eyes not as good looking but if you put the same wheels on it as the second (yellow/black?) one it would be much better looking. But the best one is the 4x4
Belugawrx Posted January 6, 2016 Author Posted January 6, 2016 Gaute, that would be awesome...bruceacoy@gmail.comand Thank You in advance
Belugawrx Posted January 8, 2016 Author Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) Ok that pesky front end,... Before After Cut through the frame, each side of the upper A arms and slid that block up, Drilled thru it all and installed copper wire and glued with 5 min. epoxy I like the way she sits now I might raise that back up about 2mm,....we'll see Thnx for looking in Q, C + c's welcome Cheers Edited January 8, 2016 by Belugawrx
68shortfleet Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Looking much better, I would vote for 2mm lower in the front though. Rear height is perfect.
bismarck Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) Oh yeah!! Just enough to tuck that front tire up under the fender lip. May take alittle surgery to the inner fender panels tho. lookin good!!! Edited January 8, 2016 by bismarck
Jantrix Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Looking much better, I would vote for 2mm lower in the front though. Rear height is perfect.Yep. I agree.
mike 51 Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 yep the back is fine..a bit too high in front tho..
Belugawrx Posted January 8, 2016 Author Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) Ok,... Man you people are task masters The low rider is the next one....just sayin' 1mm lower, in the front...(it's rubbing almost) 1.5 mm higher in the rear... ( cause I said so) If it goes over a speed bump, I'm blowin' the front quarters off !! Next up hydraulics and search the parts drawer for an engine.... Cheers Edited January 8, 2016 by Belugawrx
68shortfleet Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Ok,... Man you people are task masters The low rider is the next one....just sayin' Cheers Looking much better with the level ride height, even though I was hoping to see you keep the lower rear height and get the front lower. That height would make an excellent "driver".
Belugawrx Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 I love the smell of Dullcote in the morning

wayne swayze Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 I like the stance in your last photo. The wheels really look good on there! Thanks for sharing!
Can-Con Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 I really like how it sits. and a nice simple solution to lowering the front suspension. Very classy.

Belugawrx Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 YA Man.. GMC / CHEV always had nice front ends..... This is mine now And in 2010. they started gaining cup size
bismarck Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Nice clean looking truck Bruce!! I like that. So many people like to Wal-Mart rash them with so much bling that they look corny. Bonus points for your good taste.
Belugawrx Posted February 9, 2016 Author Posted February 9, 2016 (edited) Didn't pan out Dan, SWEET 69 !?! Thanks Kevin, Dan..other one .. So I didn't do a bit more to the '60... but the '62 409, I got to.... I figure the guy got it when his dad traded up to a '65 after beating the '60 to death,..he had access to a 409 that his buddies Dad had ripped out of an Impala, turning it into a strip racer, and the story continues... I will add a fuel line to those carbs,..and (touch-up everything!!!).... then I call the engine..Done Q,C.+C's welcome Cheers Edited February 9, 2016 by Belugawrx digicam madness
