Now looking at his paint job it looks so smooth. The light reflections shows the depth. Very nice.

Cant wait to see the new project when finished.

Thanks Ernesto.  I get lucky with the paint sometimes.  I'm not a great painter.:(

Well you definitely out did your self with that one.

Thats what I'm hoping to achieve with my new airbrush. Paint is such an art form IMO

FYI that car was painted with a Tamiya rattle can with no clear applied.

cool project! I would like try one as well if I can have the kit...

Pick up any version of the AMT Cobra kit Nie, they are all the same, and build along.

Wow, great work JC, those seats, and , the interior look incredible, and , the engine is fine as well, but , the body work you did here is stellar. Looks like something you would see in a 1:1 body shop, lol. Love your builds man, carry on!

COX6010 was a nearly stock Cobra and as such the dash layout was also stock.   After painting the dash  I flattened the end of a toothpick and rubbed the paint off the gauge face and the bezels.  I'll flow in some Future to simulate a lens.  Click on the photo to see the image full size,  you can read MPH and RPM on the gauges.

AMT did some fabulous engraving back in the 60's! While they had some issues with scale size and shapes, their detail molding was second to none!
