Only cost 31 bucks for both. Had a 33% coupon for the rotary tool. A few of the carbide bits are thickness of a hair so most of them will probably get used in the pin vise. But all in all I expect to get a couple years use at least.

Trust me on this, use the carbide drill bits as finger drills. They work wonders but  are very, very fragile.

I wish I had seen your message before I started using them. I busted 2 of the bits using them with the rotary tool. However, once I started using them as finger drills they cut right through anything extremely smooth. Thank you for the tip. I think I would have busted them all through trial and error.

How long will it last?

I agree Jim, there is a reason why Harbor Freight tools are so cheap! Just depends on how many times you plan on using them!
