Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted March 5, 2016 Author Posted March 5, 2016 Thanks again everyone. i appreciate the kind words.nice ! cool design and with the seats and console ! .. one thing i dont understand .. why did you leave the lettering on the chassis ? would have been nice to see that removed .. not ment badly !!Good question and one I really don't have an answer for. I don't mind having a part number or manufacturer stamp on it I guess.
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted March 5, 2016 Author Posted March 5, 2016 Filled in some gaps and squared off the top of the back seats.
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted March 5, 2016 Author Posted March 5, 2016 Some work on the door panels. Still trying to decide on a design for the doors. I want to keep it simple and clean but not too plain.
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted March 7, 2016 Author Posted March 7, 2016 I settled on a pretty simple design for the door panels. I cut a horizontal line on the panel and added a strip of 26 gauge wire, cut a hole for the speaker and added thicker gauge wire along the bottom edge. Kind of hard to see the flocking in the second picture. I was going to insert a parts box speaker but decided to go with a scratch built design using wire and fabric from an old Nike shirt instead. I'll add an armrest made from quarter round stock and PE window switches. It's painted DupliColor white primer which I'll use for the seats too. Thanks and let me know what you think.
