Clay Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Its been hard to get back into model building since we got back from Georgia, I guess its the state my house is in right now, as in messy. I just dont have the energy or the time to clean up right now. By the time I get home I'm exhausted, then we have to get dinner going, feed the kid, get him a bath and put to bed and for those of you with children you know that that can be a job within itself. I just hope that I can get back into it soon. I have all those kits to finish/do. Well its time for bed for me. Later
george 53 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Not to worry Clay,We ALL go thru it.Get you some shut eye an GET ON THE BALL, when your up to it. Ranger on the way.(not that ANY MARINE needs a rangers help!) ( on offense to any rangers out there!)
bobss396 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 When my kids were little it was almost impossible to even THINK about anything model car related. I worked 2 jobs, my wife worked a few evenings a week and Saturdays. Between baths, dinner, reading stories to them, I was spent by 9:30 most nights, it only gets better from there! Bob
Raul_Perez Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 All I can tell you my young friend is to enjoy all of the time that you have with him now while he's young. It won't be long before he's into your stash of models, asking for the keys to the car and off to college... When my sons where you I was working as many as 3 jobs at a time so my wife could stay home and raise them. As a result, they turned out to be really fine young men. The down-side was that I didn't get to spend a lot of time with them when they were young.
Clay Posted April 2, 2008 Author Posted April 2, 2008 (edited) Yeah I know I will miss it later on, but I wish he could do some stuff on his own. Not everything though. I guess its because I havent really sat down and looked at what I need to do with them, I will have all day saturday to do it, I will be on Duty, Yay Edited April 2, 2008 by jones_clayton

Cornpatch Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 dont worry i am growing faster than he can imagine too but thats due to being pregnant Yea Clay's complaining now. Does he realize that it all starts over again after you become unpregnant. With 2 kids he's going to have twice the trouble finding the time to model. You tell Clay, that as Fleetside says, wife and kids first. He has the rest of his life to finish those models. Jeff

Jeff Yeah I know, its already hard to do it, but today since I have basically the whole day to work on it I have got a project going. And I might start on the kit bash I have planned.
