I mean is it a model of a real product? I did a Google search and found a Dodge Charger with Monster energy drink logos on it. Does someone make a real supercharger setup for the Ford 4-can with a pair of twin-screw superchargers on their sides? If not, there should be. B)

A little more info, please, Lee?

I perused the new issue (#200) over the past few days and when I saw your post, I couldn't remember any reference to a 'Monster Charger,' either resin or otherwise.  I went back through the issue and found nothing.

Just in case the previous issue (#199) was the one you referenced, I went through it as well.  I still did not find a 'Monster Charger' reference.

Help us figger out what you're asking about (you've got me curious!).  Thanks!  B)

It's on page 5 of issue 200. A review of a resin "Monstercharged" Ford 4-cam 5.8 (351) offered by Clearly Scale. Each side of the intake manifold has a twin-screw supercharger laying on its side.

Gotcha.

Back to your original question.  Beats me.

Looks to be a little phantom/phantasy.  I googled 'supercharged Ford DOHC' and got nothing that looked like Clearly Scale's resin motor.

That 'Monstercharged' engine mocked up in the Model A would be a whole lot more than that car could handle . . . especially since it's sitting in a stock frame.  Even with just one supercharger the 351 could likely twist that frame.

Just because a product is featured in the "New Products" pages doesn't mean it's a specific version of a real product!

I mean, come on... if a kit manufacturer came out with a new kit of a "flying Monkeemobile," does that necessarily mean there is a real flying Monkeemobile? Of course not!

We feature new products in the model car world. There  is no guarantee that any featured product has any connection to reality.
