Really nice build Bill. I thought they all came with black dash and the panels in front of doorpanels when they had white interior.

Google is a jungle of referance pictures, but obviously not every car out there is genuine,or restored by as how they left the factory.

If anyone would do it, my money is on Moebius.

Round 2 is too busy reissuing 50-year old kits in new boxes with useless miniature "collector boxes" inside... old, old kits at today's prices...

Moebius, on the other hand, is busy releasing all-new kits of cars that have never been kitted before. It's Moebius that's on the cutting edge of the hobby.

If the basic uni-body chassis structure and driveline parts are the same between the 65 Plymouth and the 68 Dodge it would be a no brainer for Moebius.

Are there any B-body experts out there that could shed some light on what they would share in scale ?

In reference to similarities with the chassis.  The NASCAR teams back in the day used that same chassis all the way through the 1970 season.  The later bodies were put right over that 65 chassis. The chassis is virtually the same.  If Moebius does intend to do the 68 Coronet , no tooling of a chassis is needed.  Just a body, interior, glass and bumpers would be the only thing needed. Whether it's stock , a Nascar or even a Dick Landy drag car Moebius already has the chassis done.

I agree to a point the NASCAR under pinnings MIGHT be the same. and MAYBE they used earlier body chassis's ( IMO ,,not likely )

But there are enough difference between a 65 chassis / floor pans versus 68 stuff. ..for me personally I would NOT be happy with it doing it that way

I think if any model company were to do a 68' Coronet kit, Moebuis would be the one.

Who ever thought a model company would ever do the Hudsons and Ford pickup trucks, and they are already working on the third version

of the 65 Plymouth Satellite/Belvedere.

Another option would be releasing the 68 Coronet in Nascar form such as the  Paul Goldsmith car that ran the circuit in the late 60's.
