angelo7 Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 (edited) As Sean says. Check this thread. It's all about truck snappers. Including mine at the end of the thread . Edited March 25, 2016 by angelo7
disabled modeler Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I like some of the snap kits that are out there or were made at some point....they are what you make of them and many build into very nice replicas. For instance...Johan and AMT made some really nice snap kits...I am always happy to have more of them myself to tinker with.
Howard Cohen Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 ...and so far you have all forgotten the 'Craftsman Series' that AMT had in the 60s. They weren't popular then as they were basic kits with no engine, no opening hood or doors or trunk (and at that point we all wanted an opening hood and engine) but now they command a high collector's price

unclescott58 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 As mentioned, there are some really nice ones available. My favorites includes Revell's '34 Ford, '57 Chevy, '70 Chevelle, and the two '63 Corvettes. These sit proudly on my display shelves right alongside their "full kit" brethren.Revell did a snap kit of a '36 Ford? Kool! What scale? And is it still available? Some snap kits can be very, very nice. 3 out of the 4 Snake45 has mentioned above I've built. And all three are very nice kits, with very good detail. I like them. I also several other new Revell snap kits, like their latest Mustang, though low in parts, make very nice looking kits then they're done. I also love AMT' old 1/43 and 1/32 scale snap kits. And I'm really looking forward to getting Revell's new 2017 Ford GT snap kit. I'm hoping that comes in today's mail, for that matter.

unclescott58 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Read it again. Oh! Yea, I misread. You said '34. Not '36. Bummer!
