V8 Trucker Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 (edited) Hi everyone, the Cobra R is a Tamiya kit and, unlike the GT (first picture) to open the hood. A project between. Greeting Jan Edited March 30, 2016 by V8 Trucker
Mattsteel85 Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Wish I could see the wheels! Your pics are very dark
V8 Trucker Posted March 30, 2016 Author Posted March 30, 2016 Thanks for your interest @Mattsteel85: yes the images have unfortunately become dark, therefore a still image from the rim
Dann Tier Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 VERY nice!! -thanks for sharing! I've always wondered how this kit looks.
DiscoRover007 Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Nice work. Really wish Tamiya would take on more American muscle cars. A 1/24 96 Viper or 1/24 Corvette. Would love to see a 69 Mustang from them too. They'd blow revells old molds out of the water.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Both cars look great. One of the very few Tamiya kits that I have is this one. Their kits are great, I just don't care about 99% of their subjects Mustang fans will probably think I'm weird, but this body style is my very favorite Mustang ever. It looks almost like a modernized Maverick, a car I really love, and prefer over any Mustang.
V8 Trucker Posted April 5, 2016 Author Posted April 5, 2016 Thanks for your interest againyes the fit is very good at Tamiya. The new Revell kits are also gotten a lot better.
