Box Art "T"

This is my attempt at a Box Art  build.  (Sort of)  I have built this kit many times, one of my all time favorites.

Ron that is some "Sweet T" ,captured the box art nicely ..... personally I like the driver side look with the open steelies also like how you did away with the un-slightly metal font mounting axel and posed front wheels...

Thanks Mike, I'm with you I like the steel wheels better, they are from the AMT '36 Ford, the ones from the kit were too wide in the rear. Besides that the moon discs don't really fit the '36 rims.

They both look great. I never was a fan of those chrome wheel discs. The open steel wheels look so much better IMO.

Love both of them. Nice work. Very clean.

 

Just finished doing one of these that was testors one coat purple and the frame and engine were inca gold. Also used the lathem blower.

Thanks guys you are too kind.  The disk hub caps were just for the photo.  I think they would look good on the right rims sourced from two kits.  Really though, I love the old AMT chrome steel rims and would hate to cover them.  The paint is not the right color like the box but, it was what I had.
