MPC 1970 Mustang

I just came across a 1970 MPC Mustang the other day. I didn't need it, but couldn't pass it up. It is molded in yellow and was assembled but not painted. All the parts are there though some have come off. What I was curious about was whether it is the same kit as the 1969 one, just with updates or of it is a completely different tool? I also got a 72 Cougar in the same condition and an unassembled 73 Cougar. I've done a little work on those two.

It is pretty much the same kit except the front end, grille and taillight panel.
