ismaelg Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Hello, Just hung up on the phone with my friend Felice from Venezuela. Here are some pics of his latest models. He is fluent in spanish and italian and he knows a bit of english but it's still a challenge for him. So if there is any question or comments, I'll serve as intrerpreter. I hope you enjoy. Yes, the Monogram Porsche 904: The unbuildable kit turned into a beauty as only few can do! He said this has been one of the most challenging projects in his modeling career, and if you have tried this kit you know what he means. Thanks,
ismaelg Posted April 11, 2008 Author Posted April 11, 2008 And here is the Academy Ferrari 250LM. Another less than stellar kit made into something nice. And both together... Thanks,
ajulia Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Hello there friend! Even if i was able to get these subjects in my hands I could only dream of it being a beautiful display of building as these two! It sure doesnt look like he had a difficult time. Extremely pleasing to see!! Keep on with the keepin on!! peace ajulia
Zoom Zoom Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Beautiful work, you'd never know by looking at them how much work it takes to get that result! That's why I built the curbside 904
MonoPed Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Fantastic work!! Is the Porsche an ex-Aurora kit? And what wheels did he use on the 250LM? The one thing I wish I had done to my 250LM, he did... get it in the weeds. Both are really nice builds!
robertw Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 As usual Felice's work is both humbling and inspiring. It is nice to see that these old kits can be brought to life by a master modeller. Rob W
Raul_Perez Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Both cars look GREAT!! The detailing on the Porsche is awesome!! Thanks for sharing,
Kombi Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 The little 904 is inspiring, I took that one on myself and definitely did not do it the justice your friend did there. It almost makes me want to take another try with that kit... almost being the operative word there.
