Harry P. Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Ok... not sure exactly why I posted this other than I like Stevie Nicks, I love this song, and I think it's interesting to see her at work in the studio doing the lead vocal track for the song.
Harry P. Posted May 1, 2016 Author Posted May 1, 2016 And here she is, many years later... same song but with a full band, doing it live. Benmont Tench from the Heartbreakers on keys...
bismarck Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 (edited) One of my favorites too. .I've been listening to her "landslide" song allot. It brings back alot of memories. Edited May 1, 2016 by bismarck
Snake45 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Recently bought her box set Enchanted off eBay. Several things on there I don't think are available anywhere else.Benmont Tench--best name in rock and roll! As David Letterman might put it, "Ladies and gentlemen, if my name was Benmont Tench, everybody could just kiss my a$$."(Second best name in rock and roll is Overend Watts, of Mott the Hoople.)
1972coronet Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 "Benmont Tench from the Heartbreakers on keys" AFAIK , The Heartbreakers consisted only of Johnny Thunders , Jerry Nolan , Walter Lure , and Billy Rath ( Richard Hell on bass guitar in their earlier iteration )

BTW ; Scott Thurston was the keyboardist in the 1972-1974 lineup of Iggy Pop & The Stooges .
Harry P. Posted May 1, 2016 Author Posted May 1, 2016 And Steve Ferrone used to be in Average White Band!
Snake45 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Harry, did you get the Stevie song I sent you? Didn't hear back from you, which is unusual. Did it come through?
1972coronet Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I've always like Rhiannon , esp for its use of the Celesta . Then of course , the Welsh folklore which influenced the song : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhiannon Gypsy is another personal favourite . The fact that Stevie mentions my favourite band by name in the song makes it okay in my mind ( ) : "So I'm back to the Velvet Underground / Back to the floor that I love..."

Harry P. Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 Killer live version of Neil Diamond's "Solitary Man" by Chris Isaak and Stevie Nicks...
Harry P. Posted May 13, 2016 Author Posted May 13, 2016 Ok... just to put a bow on this thread... the finished product from the Bella Donna album, complete with double-tracked vocals (nice!). My fave Stevie Nicks song, apart from her work with Fleetwood Mac...
